I'M NEW TO YOGA, WHICH CLASS IS RECOMMENDED FOR ME?
Introductory Yoga Course is recommended for those who are new to Iyengar Yoga. This 10-week program which lays a strong foundation physically and mentally to continue your Iyengar Yoga practice. If the time and date does not suit your schedule, you may opt to attend our Preliminary Class.
I HAVE AN EXPERIENCED OF PRACTISING OTHER FORM OF YOGA. CAN I ATTEND LEVEL 1 WITH THIS PRACTICE?
You can only attend Level 1 if you have practised Iyengar Yoga for a year above.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I ATTEND CLASSES?
As many classes as possible or at least twice a week. Apart from attending classes, it is necessary to practise at home on a regular basis in order to progress.
DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN YOGA MAT AND PROPS?
No, yoga mats and all props are provided. Yet you are welcome to use your own yoga mat.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Your yoga attire should allow you to move freely. Do not wear anything which is too tight or too loose. It is important that the teacher and you should see your knees and feet.
ARE THERE SHOWER FACILITIES?
Yes, it is fully equipped with shower requirements.
IS THERE PARKING?
Yes, there are, which you may pay via Touch n’ G, Boost or Jom Parking.
DO YOU HAVE TRIAL CLASS?
We do not have trial class, but we do have a Drop-In with a very minimal charge.
DO YOU HAVE AGE REQUIREMENT?
We are open from 6-year-old for Kids Yoga till 60-year old for Gentle Yoga (Senior Citizen).
I HAVE BACK PAIN, KNEE PAIN, INJURY AND OTHER HEALTH PROBLEMS. CAN I GET ANY HELP FROM IYENGAR YOGA?
Yes, you can. Many students practise Iyengar Yoga to care their joint pains. But do notify your teacher of any physical injuries or health problems before every class. If your condition is severe, you may seek our specialised remedial class as it will be more appropriate. Please consult with our Front Desk Personnel for further information.
